Calling businesses and community groups to join Match My Project

We are inviting businesses and community groups to join Match My Project. This online platform, administered locally by Hackney Giving, is a way for community groups to post requests and for businesses to browse to see if they can meet them. 

Examples of support provided so far include:

• Tablet computers for carers.
• Blood pressure devices for a women’s support group.
• A printer for a children’s charity.
• A fridge freezer for a community centre.
• Funding for a Christmas event to promote social connections.
• A food processor for a project for disabled people to learn cooking skills.

Tamara Wiltshire, Community Giving and Partnerships Coordinator at Hackney Giving, said: “Match My Project is going well! Community organisations are posting their projects and suppliers are supporting them. There have been several successful matches so far and we anticipate that this matchmaking platform will continue to grow, improve, and deliver meaningful impact in Hackney.”
