Since April 2020, we have distributed public sector funding totalling more than £2.5 million. We have worked extensively with London Borough of Hackney as well as with colleagues in North East London Clinical Commissioning Group.
These partnerships were established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and demonstrated clearly the value of cross-sectoral work. We are honoured to have played a part in building a successful model of multi-sector partnerships and are pleased to be able to continue this work into the future.
In 2024, Hackney Giving was highlighted as an example of good practice for councils in working with infrastructure organisations https://www.local.gov.uk/publications/working-local-infrastructure-organisations-engage-smaller-vcfse-organisations-good
We are a trusted and experienced grant-maker with extensive links into Hackney’s communities and the voluntary and community sector organisations that support them. By working with Hackney Giving, your funding can reach people that may be missing out on mainstream provision. This includes undocumented migrants, people who do not access digital content, people whose first language is not English and adults with learning disabilities.
Hackney Giving can run your whole grants programme, from start to finish, or we can tailor our service to meet your specific needs and parameters.

The best way to start your partnership with Hackney Giving is to get in touch by phone or email.
