Hackney Giving's Cost of Living funding programme is now open
Hackney Giving and LBH Cost of Living programme
The increased cost of living is an ongoing problem for many people living in Hackney. We are inviting applications from not-for-profit groups working to support people with the cost of living in early 2025.
Grants of £5,000 will be awarded for work towards the following outcome:
Reducing the impact of the rising cost of living on people living in Hackney.
A total of £150,000 is available for distribution.
Sarah Watson, Development and Programme Manager, Hackney Giving, said: “The cost of living is still an issue for people. In this round, we will be funding projects that provide support with food or with bill payments.”
Sarah continued: “In addition, we can also fund preventative work that helps people avoid crisis. The voluntary and community sector continues to care for Hackney’s communities and we are pleased to be able to distribute these funds.”
